All meeting participants are invited to submit an abstract for the poster session portion of the conference and for consideration for an oral presentation. Although we would encourage abstracts to relate to the theme of Evolutionary Medicine, submissions are not restricted to this topic and we encourage participants to showcase research and/or related activities being done at their Center. Junior investigators are particularly encouraged to submit an abstract. The deadline for submission is February 9, 2007. Abstracts may be submitted online or sent via email to

. if you would prefer your abstract be considered solely for the poster presentation, please remember to mark the appropriate box on your registration form and also indicate your preference via email. We will notify you if your abstract has been accepted for an oral presentation by February 16, 2007.
Guidelines for Preparation and Formatting
- Abstracts should be single-spaced and contain a maximum of 250 words.
- If submitted via email, they must be in a Microsoft Word format using a 10 point Arial font.
- Abstracts must include the following information: title (uppercase letters), names of authors (with the name of presenter underlined if submitted via email. If submitting on-line, the name of the presenter must be the name of the person submitting the form), and affiliation of authors. Example of preferred author/affiliation format: John Doe1, Mary Smith2, Peter Jones3. 1National Cancer Institute, 2Channing Laboratory, Harvard University and 3University of California, San Francisco.
